Membership is an enhancement to Starlight primary care, not the only way to become a patient.

Do I need a membership to be a Starlight primary-care patient?
No. Starlight also offers traditional primary care using participating insurance plans or self-pay. Membership is an optional upgrade for patients who want enhanced access and more time.
What’s the difference between Concierge Membership and Direct Primary Care?
Both provide the core membership access benefits. Concierge Membership continues to bill participating insurance for covered visits, while Direct Primary Care is a cash-based membership that does not bill insurance for primary-care visits.
Can I use my insurance with Concierge Membership?
Yes. Participating insurance is billed for covered services. Your usual copays, deductible, or coinsurance may still apply depending on your plan.
Can I use insurance with Direct Primary Care?
Primary-care visits are provided through the membership instead of insurance. Insurance may still be used for services outside Starlight such as specialists, imaging, medications, emergency care, or hospital care.
Who is DPC a good fit for?
DPC may fit self-employed patients, families, people with high-deductible plans, uninsured patients, or anyone who prefers predictable cash-based primary care. Medicare and Medicaid patients are not eligible for the DPC option.
Can my family join?
Family enrollment may be available. We can review the best membership structure for each household during a membership consultation.
