Primary care, your way.
We built Starlight Health to be a different kind of primary care practice.
Our goal was simple: create a healthcare experience centered around time, access, and relationships. By operating as a membership-based practice, we're able to spend more time with each patient and provide a more personalized healthcare experience.
We offer two membership options that share the same commitment to personalized care, longer visits, and better access. The difference is simply whether you prefer to use your insurance through Concierge Membership or bypass insurance through Direct Primary Care.

Every Membership Includes
30–60 minute appointments
Because your health can’t wait.
Message, call, or text your care team directly.
More availability. More personalized care.
Prevent problems before they start.
Help navigating labs, specialists, imaging, and more.
More time starts with a smaller patient panel.
Membership allows us to care for fewer patients than a traditional high-volume primary care practice. That creates more capacity for longer appointments, easier access when something comes up, and a provider who has the time to understand your history, goals, and ongoing care.
Fewer patients competing for the same appointment time.
More room in the schedule for each patient.
More time to discuss concerns and plan care.
More availability when you actually need us.
Compare Your Options
Both memberships provide the same core access benefits. The main differences are how care is paid for, who is eligible, and which model best fits your situation.
Insurance
We continue to bill participating insurance plans for covered office visits and services.
We do not bill insurance for your primary care visits. Your care is provided through the membership instead.
What You Pay
Membership starts at $85 per month. Copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and other insurance-based patient responsibilities may still apply.
Membership starts at $135 per month. Many primary care services are included, with discounted cash pricing available for additional services.
Eligibility
Available to patients with participating traditional insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem PPO, UnitedHealthcare, and Medicare.
Available to most patients who want to bypass insurance for primary care. Medicare and Medicaid patients are not eligible for the DPC option.
Best Fit
A strong fit for patients with traditional in-network insurance who want more time, better access, and a smaller patient panel.
A strong fit for self-employed patients, families, people with high-deductible plans, uninsured patients, or anyone who prefers a simpler cash-based model.
Questions about Primary Care Membership
Here are answers to the questions we hear most often when patients are deciding between Concierge Membership and Direct Primary Care.
What's the difference between Concierge Membership and Direct Primary Care?
Both provide longer visits, easier access to your provider, and a smaller patient panel. Concierge Membership continues to bill your insurance for covered visits, while Direct Primary Care is a cash-based membership that does not bill insurance for primary care services.
Can I use my insurance with Concierge Membership?
Yes. We continue to bill participating insurance plans for covered services. Your normal copays, deductibles, or coinsurance may still apply depending on your plan.
Can I use insurance with Direct Primary Care?
Primary care visits are covered through your membership instead of insurance. Insurance may still be used for services outside our office such as specialists, imaging, medications, or hospital care.
Which option is more affordable?
That depends on your insurance and healthcare needs. Patients with strong traditional insurance often prefer Concierge Membership, while patients with high deductibles, no insurance, or self-employment frequently find Direct Primary Care offers more predictable costs.
How long are appointments?
Our membership model allows substantially longer appointments than a traditional primary care office, giving more time to discuss concerns, preventive care, and long-term health goals.
Can my family join?
Absolutely. We care for individuals and families and can help determine which membership option best fits each household.
